Client Discovery Process: The most effective way to serve our clients is to get to know all elements of their current finances and investment policy, objectives and constraints, and any other information relevant to building an investment portfolio. This discovery process is also an opportunity for a prospective client to get to know us, our team, our philosophy, our alignment of interests, and how we will communicate going forward. At the end of the discovery process, we present you with an overview of your client profile, recommendations for investment strategy and implementation, and the advisory fees commensurate with the scope of services we will provide.
Client Onboarding: Ultimately, there are two parts to the client relationship; One is with our firm – we create an investment management agreement & policy with the client to set guidelines for our responsibility as a portfolio manager; Two is with our custodian, National Bank Independent Network, who provides third-party account safekeeping, asset custody, and ongoing account statement and tax reporting.
Client Communication: In addition to monthly statements provided through our secure client portal, we stay active with our clients with account reviews with your investment committee, market updates and commentaries, portfolio changes, and re-balancing as necessary. An active line of communication is crucial to our client relationships.
